twenty twelve goodness

This year was good to us. It involved waiting but was full of being with those we absolutely love. Still can't believe all the people and places we were blessed to experience. Now we're here at the place we spent last year preparing for, already experiencing valleys and mountain tops, knowing this next year will grow us but excited to immerse ourselves more in God's story. It's an adventure, one that is much bigger than us and (praise God is) resting on the love and support of so many wonderful people and communities.

For that, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude. Thanks 2012.

There are some places that never photo as big as they feel. And you can't even describe the feeling you had in that place. When you remember it, music suddenly seemed to be playing (orchestra to go along with the crashing waves and make you feel like you're in a movie). A feeling of surprise mingled with admiration (Oxford Dictionary).

And it feels really good to run across other people's photos of the same pretty place you've seen because you think, "Oh hey, I've felt that wonder, too."

That's what the Cliffs of Moher feel like.
